Collective Home
A sculptural installation resembles a security fence and a home at the same time to re-contextualizes the role of the fence used to divide people into a symbol of welcome home.
The work functions as a sitting and gathering area to facilitate connections with the place and the people sharing the experience.
This pubic work was funded and produced in collaboration with Downtown Atlanta Inc. and Dashboard and Installed at Woodruff Park in Atlanta in 2021 and Route 66 in Albuquerque New Mexico in 2022.
"Collective Home" received one of the inaugural Arts & Entertainment Atlanta grants in 2021.
